Structure

Working groups

The AsRSG operates through seven standing working groups: three organised around species-level conservation, and four around functional areas essential to the group's effectiveness. Each is chaired by an appointed member and reports collectively to the Leadership Team, with a designated Leadership Focal Point providing day-to-day guidance.

Species conservation

GOH Rhino Conservation Planning

Scientific leadership and strategic coordination for the conservation of the greater one-horned rhino across its range in India and Nepal.

Sumatran Rhino Conservation Planning

Leading and coordinating the rescue of the Sumatran rhino from extinction, integrating field protection with managed breeding at a population level.
