Mr Lokendra Adhikari

Mr. Lokendra Adhikari is a conservation professional with over a decade of service in Nepal’s Department of National Parks and Wildlife Conservation. He has played a key role in the protection of the greater one-horned rhinoceros, with expertise in anti-poaching strategies and combating illegal wildlife trade. He holds an MSc in Forestry from Tribhuvan University, Nepal, and a Master of Environment (Conservation and Restoration) from the University of Melbourne. His work emphasizes community-based conservation, integrating local stewardship with science-driven approaches. He is committed to advancing global biodiversity conservation through collaboration, innovation, and effective species protection initiative.
